The tealight is the pinwheel head laying on its back. I haven't yet managed to get it to float well in a pool without tilting a bit to the side.
The "shadowcaster" shown below is another failed experiment. I could get the thing to spin easily enough, but once twisting tension built up on the dental floss, it reached an equilibrium that prevented continuous rotation.
